We are a registered safety-education charity providing accessible, inclusive and effective personal safety and self-defence training.We believe that personal safety means having the knowledge to avoid unsafe situations, the confidence tomake well-informed safety decisions, and the self-assurance that comes with knowing how to help yourself out of danger.

Who we areMust Be Me is a UK-based organisation dedicated to breaking the silence around safety and delivering what we call ‘everyday empowerment’.Our mission is to equip anyone who wants it – regardless of gender, age, background or geography – with free safety-improvement training. Our work enhances wellbeing and safeguards lives and communities.
Our classesJust one class can teach you the skills you need to improve your confidence and safety awareness in day-to-day situations.Working both independently and hand-in-hand with community groups and partnerships, we provide single, one-hour classes teaching the crucial elements of personal safety and self-defence. You don’t need any previous experience to attend, and our classes are completely free.
